All Rules

The All Rules view provides a listing of the rules as identified from the data by the rules model.

The All Rules view can be launched from the main Troubleshooter toolbar.

Each rule of the rules model is uniquely denoted by a sequential number.  

  • The parameter used in the IF … THEN rule is given the rule in blue.  

  • An AND expression links multiple conditions of a rule statement.

  • The outcome of the rule is shown in red.

  • The number of cases which can be described by the rule is given in black.

  • Order Classes:

    Change the order in which outcome classes are displayed

  • Sort Rules:

    The display order of the rules can be selected by choosing the Sort rules button, which sorts according to the number of cases, the outcome class and the accuracy.  Each of these parameters could be sorted in Ascending or Descending order.

  • Single outcomes

    The display format can be changed to display only the outcome class with the highest percentage using the toolbar or the context menu.

  • Multiple outcomes

    The display format can be changed to display all the outcome class for a particular rule using the toolbar or the context menu.

  • Sorting multiple outcomes - alphabetic vs percentage

    The default way of sorting the multiple outcomes of a rule, is according to descending percentage of cases.

    The sorting order can be changed to be ascending alphabetic order (and back to percentage) via the toolbar button or via the context menu.
